Solution

The correct option is A 2650

Δ(cm)=8.64BD

Δ=Delta in cm
B=Base period in days
D=Duty in hectares/cumec.

Duty for rice,

Drice=8.64BΔ=8.64×1401.34

= 902.6 ha/cumec

Discharge from canal,
Q=AreaDuty

=1200902.6=1.3294cumec

Now duty for wheat,

Dwheat=8.64×BΔ

=8.64×1200.52=1993.846ha/cumec

Now Q=AreaDuty

Area=1993.846×1.3294
=2650.62 hectares
