Question

A capacitor has some dielectric between its plates and the capacitor is connected to a DC source. The battery is now disconnected and then the dielectric is removed. State the effect on the charge stored in the capacitor.

Dear Student , When the capacitor is connected to a DC source , It gets charged , and as battery is disconnected so no more charge can flow . So Charge will be constant because when battery is disconnected there is no path for charge to flow. Regards!
