The correct option is C (10/3)Ω
We know that total heat produced H= energy stored in capacitor =12CV2=12×2×106×(5)2=25μJ
Now this should distribute in inverse ratio of resistors, as they are in parallel.(P=V2/R) .
Thus, H5HR=R5
or H5=RR+5H
or 10=RR+5(25)
or 2=RR+5(5)
or 2R+10=5RR=103Ω
