Given, initial velocity, u = 0 ( the car is initially at rest)
time taken, t=10s
acceleration, a=10 ms2

Let the distance covered be 's'.

From the second equation of motion,
s=ut+12×at2
s=(0×10)+(12×10×102)
s=10002 = 500 m
The distance covered by the car is 500 m.
