Solution

Writing the algebraic expression:

Given :-

The car is charging Rs.100 for travelling for 1hour
For travelling for 6 hours the customer has to pay =100×6=600Rs.

If the customer is given 50Rs. discount on total

The algebraic expression for the amount he has to pay is 600-50 Rs.

=550 Rs.

Hence, 550 Rs. is the required algebraic expression for the amount the customer has to pay for travelling for 6 hours.
