A car consumes 8 litres of petrol in covering distance of 100km. How many kilometers will it travel in 26 litres of petrol?

Given that distance covered by car in 8 litres of petrol =100km

Divide both side by 8

distance covered by car in 1 litre of petrol =1008km

Multiply both side by 26

distance covered by car in 26 litres of petrol =1008×26km=325km

Hence, A car will cover a distance of 325km in 26 litres of petrol.
