A car covers $120 k m$ distance in $3$ litre petrol, if $7$ litre petrol is filled up in the car tank, then find the distance covered by the car in km.

Distance covered in $3 L$ of petrol $= 120 k m$
Distance covered in $1 L$ of petrol $= \frac{120}{3} = 40 k m$
Distance covered in $7 L$ of petrol $= 40 \times 7 = 280 k m$
