Given,car covers 600m in 2 min

2 min = 120 s

$\therefore speed=\frac{d}{t}=\frac{600}{120}=5m/s$

Train covers 75km in 50 min,

$75km=75000m--------(1km=1000m)$

$50min=50\times 60=3000s$

$\therefore speed=\frac{d}{t}=\frac{75000}{3000}=25m/s$

Ratio of the speed of car to that of train is $=\frac{speedofcar}{speedoftrain}=\frac{5m/s}{25m/s}=\frac{1}{5}$
