the initial speed of the car U= 120kmh=120×100060×60=1003ms

the final velocity V= 0 ms-1

time taken t= 4 sec

Step 2: Calculation

From the kinematic equation

V=U+at0=1003+4a-4a=1003-a=1003×4-a=253ms-2
