Solution

The correct option is A

1 : 4

Cars are identical which means mass of both the cars will be equal.

Let their masses be equal to m Kg.

Let the speed of the cars be v1 and v2 respectively such that,

v1=15kmh1

v2=30kmh1

K.E1K.E2=12×m×v2112×m×v22

or , K.E1K.E2=(15)2(30)2=(1530)2=(12)2=14

Required ratio is 1 : 4
