35m, 5m


The car covers 10m in 40s, so the speed of the car is 1040 m/s.

Total time= 2 minutes 20 seconds =140 s

Distance = speed × time
= 1040×140
= 35m


In travelling 35m around of a square of perimeter 40m, the body is 5m away from its initial position.

So, its displacement will be 5m.
