The correct option is B

The car covers $10 m$ in $40 s$ , so the speed of the car is $\frac{10}{40}$ m/s.

Total time= 2 minutes 20 seconds =140 s

Distance = speed $\times$ time
= $\frac{10}{40}$ $\times$ 140
= 35m

In travelling 35m around of a square of perimeter 40m, the body is 5m away from its initial position.

So, its displacement will be 5m.
