It is given that the car travels at a speed of 1040m/s.

Total distance covered after 2min 20s (i.e., 140s) will be:

Distance = Speed × Time
= 1040×140
= 35 meters

Displacement will be the difference between the initial and final points.

If the car covers 35 meters in 140s along the perimeter of a square, it means that the car has traveled 10 meters along the first three sides and 5 meters along the fourth side. It is 5 meters short of reaching the initial point.
