Given: initial velocity of car u=10 ms1, final velocity of car v=0 ms1, mass of car m=180 kg, time taken for the car to stop t=15 seconds.
Let the force needed to stop the car is F
Using newtons second law of motion: F=m× vut=180× 01015=120 N
