Question

A car moving in a horizontal road may be thrown out of the road in taking a turn this is because of lack of centripetal force but why not friction between the road and tyre??

Solution

it is simple

while taking a turn, there must be centripetal force .The direction of the net force is in the same direction as the acceleration. So for an object moving in turn there must be an inward force acting upon it in order to cause its inward acceleration. This is sometimes referred to as the centripetal force requirement.

this is lack while moving in a horizontal plane

hence the reason
