Given final speed, v=180 kmh1=50 ms1
Time taken t=10 s
Using first equation of motion, v=u+at
Acceleration of the car a=vut=50010(u=0 as body starts from rest)
a=5 ms2
Thus, the distance covered by the car
S=ut+12at2 (Using second equation of motion)
S=0+12×5×(10)2
(u=0 as body starts from rest)
S=250 m
