A car travels a distance of 200 km from Delhi to Ambala towards north in 5 hours.Calculate velocity of the car for this journey.

Given,
Displacement = 200 km
Time taken = 5 hours
We know,
$V e l o c i t y = \frac{D i s p l a c e m e n t}{T i m e}$
Putting all the values
$V e l o c i t y = \frac{200}{5} = 40$ km/h
Hence the velocity of the car is 40 km/h towards north.
