Solution

Step 1: Given that

Radius of circular track = 50 m.

Time = 20 seconds .

Step 2: Formula

Speed=DistanceTimetaken

Distance=2×π×r

Speed=2×π×rt

Velocity=DisplacementTimetaken.

Step 3:Calculation :

(i) Speed

Distance=2×π×r.

Distance=2×3.14×50m.Distance=314m.

Speed=314m20s=15.7ms.Speed=15.7ms.

(ii) Velocity of the car .

As the car traveled along a circular path so the displacement of the body is zero.

Therefore, the velocity is zero.

Step 4 :

Hence,

(i) speed = 15.7ms.

(ii) Velocity of the car = Zero
