A car tyre has a circumference 1 m and annular diameter 10 cm. Find out the volume of air to be introduced into the tyre at atmospheric pressure, so that pressure inside it becomes 10 standard atmosphere

radius of tube= 0.05 m

Volume of tube= $\pi R^{2}L\Rightarrow 3.14\times 0.{05}^2\times 1\Rightarrow 7.85\times {10}^{-3}{m}^3$
Let volume of air that need to be pumped = V<sub>1

$$\begin{gathered} P_1{V}_1=P_2{V}_2 \\ or{V}_1=\frac{10P_0\times 7.85\times {10}^{-3}}{P_0}\Rightarrow 7.85\times {10}^{-2}{m}^3 \end{gathered}$$</sub>
