Given :-

A car with speed 60km/hr covers some distance in 8hrs.

The distance covered $=$ (velocity) $\times$ (time)

$=60\times 8$

$=480km$

Given :-

That it has to cover the same distance in $7\frac{1}{2}$hrs.

So,velocity required $=\frac{distance}{time}$

$=\frac{480\times 2}{15}$

$=64km/hr$
