Now,
Let B be the event that the drawn card bears a number between 3 and 8 (both inclusive).
We know:
Number of cards bearing numbers between 3 and 8 (both inclusive) = 24
$\therefore$ n (B) = 24
And,
P (B) = $\frac{n\left(B\right)}{n\left(S\right)}=\frac{24}{52}=\frac{6}{13}$
$\therefore$ Probability that the drawn card bears a number between 3 and 8 (both inclusive) = $\frac{6}{13}$
