Open in App
Solution

Let A be the event of getting a spade card

P(A) = 452=113

B be the event of getting a spade card

P(B)=1352=14

P(AB)=152

[In a spade suit there is one ace also]

P(AB)=P(A)+P(B)P(AB)

= 113+14152=1652=413
