Solution

In a pack, there are 52 cards.

Hence, n(S)=52.

Let A be the event of getting a king of red colour.

In a deck, there are 2kings of red colour. (1 king of diamond and 1 king of heart).

Hence, n(A)=2

Hence, the probability of getting a king of red colour, P(A)=n(A)/n(S).

P(A)=2/52

P(A)=1/26.
