Solution

Given,

A cardboard of size 18cmx18cm, two colour papers say pink and blue, pair of dice, empty box, pair of scissors, sketch pens, fevicol, etc.

The experiment is to find the following:

  • Sample space and event
  • Number of possible outcomes
  • Favourable outcomes
  • Probability of an event = (Number of favourable outcomes/Total no. of possible outcomes)

Steps for the experiment:

  • On each side of cardboard paste the two different colour papers, i.e., pink and blue
  • Now divide and cut the cardboard into 36 squared pieces
  • Write the outcomes of throwing two dices on either side of the square boards and put in a box
  • Now take out the cards from the box one by one and write the observations

Using the formula we can calculate the probability of each event now.
