Solution

The correct option is A Sundew
Plants are autotrophs which make their own food. Some of the plants depend upon organism for nutrition as they lack photosynthetic machinery. These plants are either parasitic or insectivorous. Sundews are otherwise called as Drosera. This means that sundews can trap and digest insects to obtain extra nutrients, such as nitrogen. This allows sundews to live where other plants can’t in nutrient-depleted soils or peat bogs. Some sundews can obtain a sufficient amount of nutrients from the soil, which allows them to survive for long periods of time, even if they don’t catch any food (i.e., mature D. capensis). However, other sundews (such as Drosera glanduligera) are not very efficient at absorbing nutrients from their roots, so they must rely more heavily on catching prey. Lichens are the symbiotic association between algae and fungi where algae provides food to the fungi and fungi provides protection.
Fern is a photosynthetic plant which belongs to pteridophytes.
Mould is a type of fungi the feeds on dead organic matter.
Therefore, the correct answer is option A.
