Distance travelled by the machine while drilling the hole= 20 cm

Speed of the machine = 0.3 m/min

1m = 100 cm

1 min = 60 seconds

Speed=0.3 m/min = 0.3×1001×60=3060=30/3060/30=12 cm/s = 0.5 cm/s

Speed = DistanceTime

Time = DistanceSpeed = 200.5 = 20×100.5×10=2005=40 seconds
