The correct option is A more active sites are formed
According to modern adsorption theroy, the catalytic activity is localised on the surface of the catalyst. The surface of catalyst have free valancies (active sites) which provide seat for chemical reaction to occurs. More the active sites on the catalyst, more will be the rate of reaction. Thus, finely divided form of catalyst will have large surface area and more number of active sites. So it is more effective to use a finely divided form of catalyst in reaction.
