Given data:
Rdark= Cds cell dark resistance =100 kΩ
Rday= Cds cell day time resistance =30 kΩ
τ= time constant =72 ms
R1(t)=Rdark+(RdayRdark)et/τ
R1(t=10ms)=100K+(30K100K)e(10m/72m)
=100K70K e10/72
R1(t=10 ms)=39.1 kΩ
To trigger comparactor we required 3V at non inverting terminal of the op-amp
So, 3V=RphotocellR2×1
R2=39.1R2kΩ13kΩ
R2=13 kΩ
So, the correct circuit is option (a) only
