Solution

Dear Student

The space between the protoplasm and cell wall of a plasmolysed cell is occupied by the hypertonic solution.

This happens because the cell loses the water when kept in hypertonic solution . It is because of the concentration of the solution outside is more .Only in isotonic solution the equilibrium will be reached.
