A certain chemical reaction rate is given as Rate=k[C]2[H]2, where C carbon, H hydorgen and k rate constant. It was found that at certian concentrations of C=4molesm3 and H=5molesm3,the rate was 30 molesm3×sec. What is the value of k?

The correct option is A 340
Rate=k[C]2[H]2

Puttimg Rate=30,C=4,H=5 into the given equation we get,
30=k[4]2[5]2
30=k(4×5)2=k(20)2

Note:––––– the rule for bases with the same exponent am×bm=(a×b)m

30=k×400
Dividing both the sides by 400, we get,
k=30400
k=340
