Solution

The correct option is B 16.5 g
The equivalent weight of copper =32.7 g/eq

The equivalent weight of hydrogen =1 g/eq

Mass of hydrogen liberated = 0.504 g

Substitute values in the equation Mass of Cu depositedMass of hydrogen liberated=Eq. Wt of CuEq. Wt. of H2

Mass of Cu deposited0.504 =32.71

Mass of Cu deposited=0.504 × 32.7 =16.5 g

Hence, option B is correct.
