Solution

The correct option is B 7
Let the no. of men, women, and boys be x,y, and z respectively.
According to the question:
x=2y ...... (i)
x=3z ...... (ii)
Let the money earn by a man, a woman, and a boy be Rs. a, Rs. b and Rs. c per day respectively
x men earn Rs 5100 in 6 days
Money earned by x men in 1 day =51006=850
Money earned by 1 men in 1 day =850x=a ..... (iii)
Now according to the question:
A woman earns one and a half times as a boy earn and a man as much as a woman and a boy together earn per day.
b=32c ...... (iv)
a=b+c ...... (v)
From equation (iv) and (v), we have
a=32c+c=52c
Given that a boy earns Rs. 25 daily
c=25
a=52×25=1252
From equation (iii), we have
850x=1252
x=850×2125=685
Now from equation (i), we have
685=2×y
y=6.8
No. of women =6.87
