rate is 10% per year and

amount =23400 .

then p+p×r×t100=amount.p+p×10×3100=23400.13p10=23400p=18000

Amount after 2 year , if interest is compounded will be A=p(1+r100)tA=18000(1+10100)2A=18000(1110)2A=Rs. 21780
