Interest earned on a certain sum of money at 18.3% for 6 yearsSI=PRT100=P×18.3×6100Interest earned on 3200 at 425% for 7 yearsSI=3200×425×7100Since both the interest are sameP×18.3×6100=3200×425×7100P×18.3×6=3200×425×7P×18.3×30=3200×42×7P=3200×42×718.3×30=320×14×718.3=3136018.3=1713.66Hence the amount inveested is 1713.66
