As we know, n1=1
No of lines =(n2n1+1)(n2n1)/2=10
n=5.

Four lines are observed in the ultraviolet region of the spectrum. These corresponds to the transitions 51,41,31,21
So, no of lines in U.V. (Lyman series) spectrum = 4.
