V1 be the initial volume of the gas = xT1 be the initial temperature of the gas in K = 273 + 77 = 350 K V2 be the final volume of the gas = 900mlT2 be the final temperature of the gas in K =330K


By Charles law
V1T1=V2T2Substituting the values :x350=900330 V1=350330×900=954.54ml.Therefore the initial volume of the gas is 954.54 ml.
