Solution

Number of faces in a die is 6

n(S) = 6
(i) The probability of getting face 'A':
n(E) = 2
P(E)=n(E)n(S)=26=13
Probability of getting A is 13
(ii) The probability of getting face 'B':
n(E) = 1
P(E)=n(E)n(S)=16=16
Probability of getting B is 16
