He went 20 metres before turning to his right again to look for his father at his uncle's place 30 metres from this point. His father was not present there. from there, he went 100 metres to his North before meeting his father in a street. How far did the son meet his father from starting point?

The correct option is A 100 m
Draw the diagram according to the directions given in the question,
AB=90 m, BC=20 m, CD=30 m.
DL=20 m, DE=100 m and EL=80 m,
AL=60 m
AE=AL2+lE2=602+802
=10000=100
So, he met at 100 m from his starting point.
