Given that

OA = Ob = radius = 10 cm

θ=90o

Area of segment APB = Area of sector OAPB - Area of AOB

Area of sector OAPB =θ360o×πr2=90360o×3.14×102=14×3.14×100=78.5 cm2

Area of AOB=12×base×height==12×OA×OB=12×10×10=50 cm2

Area of segment APB = Area of sector OAPB - Area of AOB

=78.550=18.5 cm2
