A chord of a circle of radius $15cm$ subtends an angle of ${60}^o$ at the center . Find the of the corresponding minor and major segments of the circle. $(Use\pi =3.14and\sqrt{3}=1.73)$

Area of minor segment = Area of circle $\times \frac{60}{360}$

$=\frac{\pi r^2}{6}=\frac{3.14\times 225}{6}=117.75c{m}^2$

Area of major segment $=\pi r^2-\frac{\pi r^2}{6}=\frac{5\pi r^2}{6}=588.75c{m}^2$
