First, we write the values in the long division bracket.


Now, we find an easier multiple of the divisor 4, which is closer to the dividend 72.


We subtract the multiple 40 from the dividend 72 and write the partial quotients in the right column.


Let's keep repeating the process until the dividend is reduced to zero.


Now, we add all the partial quotients to get the final quotient.

∴ Final quotient =10 + 8 = 18

Hence, the area of one part of the circle is 18 sq units.
