The correct option is A 42.14 cm2
The side of the square = diameter of the circle.
Hence, radius = 142= 7 cm.
Area of circle = πr2 =3.14×72=153.86 cm2.
Also, the area of the square = side2 = 142= 196 cm2.
Area of remaining part = Area of the square – Area of the circle.
Area of remaining part = 196 cm2- 153.86 cm2 = 42.14 cm2.
