The side of the square = diameter of the circle.
Hence, radius = $\frac{14}{2}$= 7 cm.
Area of circle = $\pi r^2$ =$3.14\times 7^2=153.86c{m}^2$.
Also, the area of the square = $sid{e}^2$ = ${14}^2$= 196 $c{m}^2$.
Area of remaining part = Area of the square – Area of the circle.
$\Rightarrow$ Area of remaining part = 196 $c{m}^2$- 153.86 $c{m}^2$ = 42.14 $c{m}^2$.
