The correct option is C 20 V and 10 V
Given, VAVB=20 V and E=10 V respectively.

Let, the charge on each capacitor be q.

Using KVL,

VAqC1+EqC2=VB

(VAVB)+E=q(1C1+1C2)

Substituting the values we get,

20+10=q(12+14)

q=30(43)=40 μC

Therefore, potential difference across C1:

V1=qC1=402=20 V

potential difference across C2:

V2=qC2=404=10 V

Hence, option (c) is the correct answer.
