The limbus is the region, where the cornea transitions to the sclera and also where the cornea meets with the tissue of the iris at the iridocorneal angle. Within the connective tissue of the angle lies a network of endothelial lined channels, which is the trabecular meshwork, and deep to the meshwork within the connective tissue of the sclera is the venous canal of Schlemm. Schlemm's canal is a circular channel in the eye, that collects aqueous humor from the anterior chamber and delivers it into the bloodstream via the anterior ciliary veins.
