Let the initial MI be I and angular velocity be ω,
so T=2π/ω=0.2s
Now the final MI is 2I, using Angular momentum conservation
We have Iω=2Iω1ω1=ω/2
So new Time period T1=2π/ω1=2π/2ω=0.4sec
