If the disc slips on the inclined plane, then its acceleration,

a1=gsinθ

So,

L=12a1t21

t1=2La1 ....(i)

If the disc rolls on the inclined plane, its acceleration,

a2=gsinθ1+ImR2

a2=gsinθ1+mR22mR2

a2=23gsinθ

Now,

L=12a2t22

t2=2La2

So,

t2t1=a1a2=  gsinθ23gsinθ=32=3x

x=2
