Solution

The correct option is A 3v2r

For pure rolling

VP=V=(PR)ω...(i)

VQ=2V=(QR)ω...(ii)

Divide by (ii) to (i),

2=QRPRQR=2(PR)

PR+QR=2r

PR+2(PR)=2r

PR=23r

From equation (i),

V=(23r)ω=3V2v
