Diameter of the pond $=14m$

Radius of the inner circle (pond), $r=7m$

Width of the concrete path $=1.75m$

Radius of outer circle (Including pond + Path), $R=7+1.75=8.75m$

Area of the path $=$ Area of the outer circle $-$ Area of the inner circle

$=\pi R^2-\pi r^2$

$=\pi (R^2-r^2)$

$=\frac{22}{7}\times (R+r)(R-r)$

$=\frac{22}{7}\times (8.75+7)(8.75-7)$

$=\frac{22}{7}\times 15.75\times 1.75$

$=86.625m^2$
