A circular garden has an area of 314m2. A sprinkle at the centre of garden can cover an area that has a radius of 12m. Will the sprinkle water the entire garden?

Area of circular garden=314m2

area the sprinkler can cover=πr2

=π(12)2

=144×3.14

=452.16m2

The sprinkler covers an area of 452.16m2 which is greater than 314m2. Since the sprinkler is at the centre of the garden, it covers the entire garden.
