Since, the perimeter of the Rhombus and the perimeter of the circular piece of thin wire are both equal.
$4a=\pi d$, where $4a$ is perimeter of square and $\pi d$ is circumference of circular piece.
$\Rightarrow 4\times 11cm=\pi dcm$
$\Rightarrow d=\frac{44}{\pi }$
$\Rightarrow d=\frac{44}{\left(\frac{22}{7}\right)}$
$\Rightarrow d=44\times \frac{7}{22}$
$\Rightarrow d=2\times 7$
$\therefore d=14cm$
